Vantage Park Day Nursery

The Nursery has been designed to make all who visit feel warm and welcomed. The rooms are open and spacious, yet maintain a snug feel.  

The nursery is divided into three main areas; the baby and toddler rooms (0-2yrs), the 2-3 yr room, and the pre-school room (3-5yrs). Although we have this age distinction the open plan design allows all the age groups to interact with each other.

There is a very large outdoor space which all the children can access at varying times of the nursery day. The emphasis is very much on the natural environment and we have used natural materials to provide the children with the stimulus they need to learn about and develop their physical abilities.
As a general guide a child will move from the baby and toddler room to the over two area around their second birthday. We are very flexible with this transition and allow children to move when they feel ready and are confident to do so.  

In all nursery age groups the development of each child is carefully monitored and nursery staff will plan activities to meet their individual needs accordingly.
